This is more of an observation rather than a conjust something to note if you want to use it with a larger travel backpack. I brought this one for my migration to New Zealand and I have no regrets. Having to unzip from the middle looks weird to me. Other slings, like the Aer Day Sling 2 for example, will position the buckle towards the side so it’s a little more out of the way and pairs more comfortably with a larger backpack. The Slings padded cross-body strap features a quick-adjuster that you can loosen when accessing gear and tighten when actively hiking or biking. Great bag Worth the price Great bag at a reasonable price. □□♂️ I’d choose the Day Sling 3 because the main compartment’s zipper is higher up. □□♂️□□♂️Īlso, I don’t see MUCH difference between the City Sling 2 and new Day Sling 3, other than slight differences in length and width. Comparing the Aer City Sling 2 to the original Aer City Sling. The Day Sling is PERFECT for travel, but not necessary for EDC. Im a fan of Aers approach to design and wondering what suggestions people might have for this use-case. Ideally, this would have more than one pocket and have an urban/minimal aesthetic. If you can wait, they have two sales a year (memorial day and black friday) that are 20 off. Thanks for the code buddy :) I just used it on a. It should be arriving tomorrow and I am stoked. I think my sling is meant to be 4L or 4.5L, but it feels like I have 3L.Īs I said, I like the organization for keeping all my little items separate, but sometimes I think having a single “bucket” compartment with stretchy pockets inside would make things quicker and easier to get. Hey ManyBaggers Im looking for an sling thatd be able to fit a Nintendo switch and a few accessories comfortably. Edit: I used the same code for the City Sling 2 (X-Pac) last week. One thing I don’t like about having all this organization is that it eats into usable space (similar to backpacks with lots of pockets). I can also carry a 350ml water bottle (roughly 12oz) in the big pocket in front. Having a pocket to store them helps a lot, but it means a lot of zipping and unzipping compartments (there are 3 compartments). The compression feature is unique and seamless in use, easily adjusting to your load. The profile, while large, isn’t overly boxy, and it blends in nicely. It is a versatile product that could come with me from the backroads to the boardroom. I love all the little pockets inside my Day Sling 2. I’ve been very impressed by the Bellroy Venture Sling. I have the Day Sling 2 (not 3), which I believe is a bit larger than the updated v3, but design-wise is very similar, so I’ll comment on that aspect.
